New Balance Football has revealed the new 2017/18 LOSC kits. The three of them were unveiled as part of the “Now Is The Time” campaign launched for the 2017/18 season.
The home jersey is dominated by “Pompéien” red, one of the three emblematic colors of the club. It is atribute to jerseys from the 1940s and 1950s, sporting a mixture of diagonal and vertical bands to form a chevron at the level of the chest. It is complemented by a round neck with a contrast trim and 2 buttons. The socks and shorts are navy blue, accented with red and white details on the side seams.
The away kit consists of white jersey and shorts, another iconic color for the club. There are also tonal stripes forming a chevron on the bust and contrasting red on the collar and sleeves. The white shorts have mesh inserts, while white and light gray socks complete the kit.
The third kit features navy blue and vibrant blue accents, decorated with tonal stripes that create a modern look. The back of the jersey and navy blue yoke panels are composed of stretch mesh, contrasting with the collar and sleeve inserts. The shorts are also navy blue with contrasting details on the reverse. On the navy-blue base the socks are joined by thin light blue lines and the name of the club in white.
“After a successful first season as sponsor of LOSC, New Balance is excited to create these new outfits for the Club. LOSC has a rich heritage in French and European football; and we wanted to translate it through the jerseys. We are sure that the players and the fans will wear them with pride.”
– Richard Wright, General Manager of New Balance Football.
The kits were developed using NB Dry technology, a moisture wicking fabric that helps keep players cool and dry whilst wicking sweat from the body, making it fast drying. 3D stretch mesh under-arm regions and a body map mesh to the back of the shirt have been incorporated to aid movement and airflow around the body.
“The kits are beautiful! I am very fond of this collection which will clearly differentiate us from other teams. I hope these new jerseys, combined with our teamwork, will lead us to great success.”
– Nicolas de Préville, LOSC striker.
